This is a personal project I'm working on. I am recreating the death race from the animated short "Running Man" from the 1987 anthology film "Neo Tokyo" by Madhouse. I first saw this short on MTV's Liquid Television and was blown away. I remember recording it and rewatching it over and over again. It was such a rich and unique world that they had created, and I wanted to completely immerse myself in it.

Several years ago, I saw the video again and I started thinking about how it would make a great video game or VR experience, so I started working on recreating it in a game engine. I started out in Unreal Engine, then moved over to Unity. I am more concerned with creating the assets and environment than I am with the game, as ultimately I don't have and likely couldn't get permission to release it.
